Why Fly with Air Europa

How to Check in

Travelers on Air Europa flights are able to check-in online or do things the traditional way by checking in at the airport. The online check-in service is available from 48 hours up to 1 hour before flights, while passengers have the option to select a preferred seat for an additional fee. For flights to and from the United States, the online check-in tool opens 24 hours before scheduled flight departure times. Alternatively, checking in at the airport is a simple process and is compulsory for flights from Miami, New York and San Juan.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Air Europa passengers are permitted to bring baggage to check-in to the hold, although how much you are allowed will depend on your flight route and cabin class. On long-haul flights, passengers flying in Economy Class are entitled to bring one piece up to 23kg, while those in Business Class are able to bring three items up to 23kg. On medium-haul flights, passengers in Economy can bring one piece up to 23kg and Business Class passengers can bring two pieces up to 23kg each. Be advised that on certain routes baggage allowances can vary, so be sure to contact the airline for accurate information on your flight. Travelers are able to purchase additional baggage allowances at varying rates according to your destination - be advised that it is far cheaper to do so online compared to the rates offered at the airport.

Air Europa flights offer a standard Economy Class alongside a premium Business Class offering luxury seating and services. Economy seats offer ample legroom with a seat pitch of 31 inches, while in Business Class you can stretch out with a seat pitch of 51 inches. During the online check-in process passengers are able to select a preferred seat for an additional fee, or you can ignore this and be assigned a seat automatically for no extra charge. The seat selection fee depends on your route - on domestic flights the fee is 14AED, while on intercontinental flights it is 45AED*. Extra legroom seats are also available at a price of 40AED on domestic routes, 78AED on European and African flights and 200AED* on intercontinental flights.
