How to Check in

Passengers flying with Air France are able to check-in online or at the airport. Checking in online can be done from 30 hours before flying, while checking in the airport is possible but check-in times vary according to the distance of your flight. Shorter flights have a 30 minute check-in deadline, while longer flights are 60 minutes before departure time. Passengers are also able to use self-service kiosks at the airport or an e-ticket in order to check-in at the airport.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Baggage allowances for those traveling on Air France flights varies according to your travel cabin and Flying Blue membership. Those flying in Economy Class are permitted baggage up to a weight of 23kg, while Business and First Class (La Premiere) passengers are allowed up to 32kg. Any passenger with baggage over the allocated weight will be required to pay an additional fee at the airport. All Air France passengers are also allowed one item of hand baggage to take on-board which must not exceed 55cm x 35cm x 25cm and either 12kg in Economy or 18kg in Business and First Class.

Those flying in Economy Class are able to upgrade their seat in order to enjoy a more comfortable flying experience. The Seat Plus option offers spacious legroom, while travelers can also choose a seat at the front of the cabin and a guaranteed duo seat in a row of two.
