Why Fly with Airkenya Express

How to Check in

Passengers flying with Airkenya Express will be able to check-in to flights the conventional way by going through the check-in process at the airport in person. The airline states that all passengers must be checked in at least one hour before flights, while check-in counters close 15 minutes before departure times. Be sure to arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight just to stay on the safe side in case of delays or queues. Currently Airkenya Express does not support online check-ins but may choose to introduce this feature in the future. Make sure you have all of the necessary documents with you when checking in including your passport and booking reference.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

All travelers on board Airkenya Express flights are entitled to bring baggage as part of the fare. Baggage allowances on Airkenya Express flights are the same on all routes with a limit of 15kg per person which includes hand baggage and permits soft bags only. Be advised that it is possible to bring excess baggage but you will need to pay excess baggage fees. Check directly with the airline for up-to-date excess baggage rates if you plan on bringing more than your allowance.

Airkenya Express flights offer a single cabin class with ample legroom to ensure you stay comfortable during your journey. You are not able to pre-select a seat as the airline does not yet support online check-ins, so you will automatically be allocated a seat upon checking in. If you have any special seating requirements or want to be sat close to friends and family, you can make this request at an Airkenya Express check-in counter at the airport.

Booking Fees

There are no hidden charges or fees when booking flights with Airkenya Express. However, be advised that cancellation charges apply depending on how soon you cancel your flight.
