Cubana

Cubana is Cuba’s largest airline with its headquarters in Havana, the capital of the country. The airline is also known as Cubana de Aviacion and has its main operating hub at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana. How to Check in

Cubana do not currently have an online check-in service so passengers will need to check in the old fashioned way at the airport. For all domestic flights, travelers are advised to make their way to a Cubana check-in desk two hours before you flight leaves, while international passengers should arrive three hours before flight departure times. All passengers will need to have a boarding pass with them in order to board the flight.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

All passengers flying with Cubana are entitled to checked baggage as well as hand baggage to bring on-board. Those flying in Economy Class are permitted two items of checked baggage on most international flights, although maximum weights vary according to the specific flight route. All passengers are advised the check with the airline before arriving at the airport to learn the specific baggage allowances for your flight. For all domestic flights, passengers are allowed checked baggage not exceeding 20kg. For anyone traveling with excess baggage, additional fees are required which vary according to your destination. Business Class passengers are permitted more checked baggage which changes depending on your flight.

Cubana currently have a standard Economy Class in addition to a premium Business Class option which offers many luxuries and benefits. Those flying in Business Class are able to enjoy extensive legroom, larger seats and a premium meal alongside a personalized service. Business Class passengers can also experience additional benefits such as a welcome cocktail on-board and access to a VIP lounge before boarding the flight.

Booking Fees

Passengers traveling with Cubana are not subjected to any hidden fees or charges when booking your ticket. However, there are excess baggage fees that will apply if you have exceeded your maximum baggage allowance which vary according to your destination.
