Eritrean Airlines

Eritrean Airlines is the national airline of Eritrea, founded in 1991 and commencing flights in 2003. The airline discontinued flights in 2008 but was rejuvenated in 2011 and resumed operations, now flying to five destinations including Dubai International Airport. Owned solely by the Eritrean government, Eritrean Airlines' main operating hub is Asmara International Airport in the capital of the country. The airline has a single Boeing 767-200ER aircraft in its fleet but also has Dornier planes being serviced in order to become a part of its domestic fleet.

Eritrean Airlines currently has a single aircraft in its fleet - a modern Boeing 767-200ER. However, it has used other aircraft in the past including Airbus A319-100 and Airbus A320-200 models. Legroom on board the Boeing 767-200ER is spacious in Economy Class with a seat pitch of 31-32 inches. As well as the Boeing 767-200ER, Eritrean Airlines has a fleet of Dornier aircraft currently undergoing upgrading work.
