Georgian Airways

Georgian Airways is the flag carrier of Georgia established in 1994 under the name of Airzena before rebranding in 2004 after a merger with Air Georgia. With its main operating hub at Tbilisi International Airport, Georgian Airways flies to 15 destinations across Europe and Asia. Although the airline previously offered a gateway into the Middle East with flights to Dubai and Bahrain, these routes are not currently active. Georgian Airways was reportedly the subject of a takeover bid from Armavia, the national carrier of Armenia, but this has not yet materialized.
