Why Fly with Mihin Lanka

How to Check in

Passengers on Mihin Lanka flights are able to check-in online from the convenience of your own home to avoid the queues. During the check-in process, passengers are sent a copy of their e-Boarding pass and are also able to print off a boarding pass which will be needed at the airport. Alternatively, it is equally straightforward to check-in at the airport by visiting the designated Mihin Lanka check-in counter which opens 2 hours before flights and closes 30 minutes before departure. When checking in online, travelers are also able to select a preferred seat, book in any baggage in advance and make any meal choices if available.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Mihin Lanka permits passengers to bring baggage to check-in, although the specific allowances differ according to your flight. Travelers are entitled to check-in between 20-30kg of baggage on flights in addition to an item of hand baggage on board which must not exceed 7kg. As different flights permit different baggage allowances, all passengers are advised to consult with the airline for accurate information about your flight. Excess baggage will incur an additional fee between 12-36AED* depending on the length of your flight.
