Checking in online is available from 24 hours before flights, closing 90 minutes before domestic flights and 2 hours before international flights. Baggage Allowances and Fees

Passengers flying with SAA are entitled to bring baggage to check-in, although specific allowances vary according to your destination and cabin class. For flights between Africa and the Middle East, Economy Class passengers are entitled to bring two items of baggage with a maximum weight of 23kg per item, while those in Business Class are allowed two items no heavier than 32kg each.
