Why Fly with TAME

How to Check in

Passengers flying with TAME are able to check-in from the convenience of your own home online, or you can go through the check-in process the old fashioned way at an airport counter. Those looking to check-in over the web are able to do so from 24 hours up to 3 hours before scheduled departure times, although a select few routes do not yet support this function. During the online check-in process, travelers are also able to select a preferred seat and print off a boarding pass. Those checking in at the airport are advised to arrive at a TAME counter at least 3 hours before international flights and 1 hour before domestic flights.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

All passengers on board TAME flights are entitled to bring baggage to check-in, although allowances vary considerably according to your destination. For example, for flights between the United States and South America, travelers are allowed to check-in two pieces up to 23kg each, while on domestic flights one bag up to 23kg is permitted. Passengers requiring additional baggage allowances can purchase more by paying excess baggage fees - rates vary according to your destination. Passengers are also allowed to bring one item of hand baggage on board no heavier than 8kg or larger than 55cm x 35cm x 25cm in addition to a personal item such as a laptop or handbag.

Seating

If you wish to sit together with family or you prefer sitting by the window or aisle, checking in online may be your preferred option as you are able to select a specific seat on board the flight at no extra charge.
