Guangzhou Airport, also known as Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, is the third busiest airport in China handling over 55 million passengers every year. The airport is a hub for a number of airlines including China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines and offers flights across the globe including to Dubai.

Terminals at Guangzhou Airport

Guangzhou Airport is set in a single terminal split into three main sections - Main Terminal, Area A and Area B. Although the airport itself is fairly large, transferring between flights is straightforward as you don’t have a lengthy journey on your hands. The airport is relatively new having only been opened up in 2004 and is situated just under 30km from central Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Airport Travel Information

There are many ways for travelers to get to and from Guangzhou Airport including public transportation. The airport is connected to the city of Guangzhou on the Metro Line 3, with the journey taking around 50 minutes. There are also Airport Express buses running from the airport into the city and take around 45 minutes.

Many visitors to the airport opt for the convenience of a taxi to reach their destination. Taxis counters can be found inside the airport and are able to take you directly to your destination. Many internationally recognized car rental companies including Avis, Europcar and Hertz can be also be found at the airport if you want to use your own vehicle during your stay.
