Geneva Airport

Geneva Airport

Geneva Airport, also known as Cointrin Airport, is the main international airport of Geneva handling over 16 million passengers every year. Situated just 4km from the city center of Geneva, the airport handles both domestic and international flights including flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai with Etihad Airways and Emirates.

Terminals at Geneva Airport

Geneva Airport has two passenger terminals. The old Terminal 2 is much smaller than the new Terminal 1 where most of the airport’s operations are based. Currently Terminal 2 is used only during the winter season, although at one point it was the primary terminal until Terminal 1 was constructed in the 1960s. If you need to transfer between terminals then your best option is to hop on the TPG bus, although you could just as easily utilize a taxi.
