Luxembourg Airport is located just over 5 km from Luxembourg City and is the only international airport serving Luxembourg. Handling around 3 million travelers each year, the airport offers a wide range of services primarily across Europe.

Terminals at Luxembourg Airport

At Luxembourg Airport there are two passenger terminals – Terminal A and Terminal B. Although the airport is not particularly large, you can still find all of the essential facilities and amenities you would need. Getting between terminals is easy if you need to transfer between flights as they are connected together by a covered walkway, so you can conveniently make the journey on foot. Terminal A was the oldest of the two terminals and was constructed in 1975 before being replaced by a new terminal complex in 2008, while Terminal B opened up in 2004 and was designed especially for small aircraft.

There are other facilities available to passengers at the airport including an observation area offering excellent panoramic views and a restaurant, currency and banking services and an airport lounge in Terminal A. Along with this, the airport provides passengers with free Wi-Fi and also has computer terminals for those who don’t have a personal electronic device. The airport is very disabled friendly with accessible facilities such as elevators and disabled toilets. Those who will need special assistance at the airport can get in touch with their airline at least 48 hours before getting to the airport.

There are plenty of transportation options available to travelers at Luxembourg Airport including public transport. There are a number of public bus routes connected to the airport which can take you into the city, with the journey taking around 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can find taxis available just outside of the terminal building which can take you to your destination directly.

Passengers looking for their own vehicle during their stay will find a number of car rental agencies operate on site. There are two different car parks at the airport offering both short- and long-term parking, while the passenger drop-off point is located in Car Park C.
