Orlando International Airport is the second busiest airport in Florida located just 10 km from central London. The airport handles close to 45 million travelers every year and offers a wide range of services including direct flights to and from Dubai. The airport has its origins in 1942 as a military airbase before slowly transitioning to a commercial airport from the 1960s onwards.

At Orlando International Airport there are two passenger terminals, Terminal A and Terminal B, which are housed under the same terminal complex. Travelers requiring special assistance can contact your airline before arriving at the airport, although you will need to do this at least 48 hours before your flight.

When you have landed at Orlando International Airport there are plenty of ways to make your way around including public transport. There are public bus routes which run directly to and from the airport into Orlando, while the airport is also connect to the SunRail train network which travels into central Orlando. As well as this, there is an Amtrak train station which is around 15 minutes’ away by taxi if you are traveling further afield.

Alternatively, taxis are available just outside of the airport if you want to get to your destination directly. All taxis are fitted with meters so you will get a fair price for your journey. Alternatively, there are several car rental agencies at Orlando airport if you want to rent your own vehicle. Car rental kiosks are located on Level 1 in both terminals, with a variety of internationally recognized providers available. Passengers driving themselves to the airport can park in one of the three car parks available which provide both short- and long-term parking.
