Pisa Airport Travel Information

There are plenty of ways to make your way to and from Pisa International Airport as the airport has excellent links to the city and the surrounding region. The quickest way to travel into central Pisa is to catch the train to Pisa Centrale station – there is a high-speed people mover network which connects the airport to the train station. Alternatively, there are public buses available which can take you into Pisa and some of the other cities in the region.

If you would prefer to take a taxi to your destination, metered taxis can be found just outside of the arrivals hall. Alternatively, there is a car rental section just a short shuttle bus ride from the terminal where you will be able to find many leading agencies if you want to rent your own vehicle. Extensive parking can also be found at the airport if you will be driving your own vehicle, with both short- and long-term parking available. However, be advised that those parking in the long-term parking area will need to catch the people mover network to reach the airport.
