Vienna Airport

Vienna Airport is situated around 18km outside of Vienna, the capital of Austria. The airport is the country’s busiest handling over 23 million passengers each year and is a hub for Austrian Airlines. It is possible to catch flights all over the globe from Vienna Airport including flights to Dubai.

Terminals at Vienna Airport

There are four passenger terminals at Vienna Airport, although currently only three are in operation as Terminal 2 is closed due to renovation work. The three terminals at the airport are Terminal 1, Terminal 1A and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 has recently benefited from a renovation project and has taken on the operations of the now closed Terminal 2.

Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are all located directly next to each other so it is very simple to transfer between terminals, while Terminal 1A is positioned opposite Terminal 1. The journey time to switch between terminals if you have to transfer flights is not long so there is no need to worry about a lengthy transfer process.
