Zurich Airport, also known as Kloten Airport, is the busiest international airport in Switzerland serving the city of Zurich. The airport is located only 13km outside of the city and operates flights across the globe including flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Terminals at Zurich Airport

Zurich Airport is comprised of three terminals - Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal E. The oldest terminal is Terminal A which is used for Schengen Area flights and domestic flights, while Terminal B operates both Schengen and non-Schengen flights and Terminal E is dedicated to non-Schengen flights. The terminals are all connected together through the Airside Center, so getting between terminals is quick and easy if you need to transfer.

There are many different ways for travelers to get to and from Zurich Airport whether it is by public or private transport. You can hop on a public bus at the bus terminal at the airport which will take you into the center of Zurich and around the region, while the airport is also connected to the Zurich tram network. You can also find buses and coaches taking travelers further afield at the bus terminal if you are traveling elsewhere in Switzerland.

If you want a direct route to your destination then a taxi is the most convenient option. Taxi ranks are located right outside the Arrivals halls where you can find metered and licensed taxis 24 hours a day. There are also a number of private limousine companies available at the airport offering their services if you would prefer a more luxurious journey to your destination.

Numerous car rental companies can be found at Zurich Airport if you wanted to use your own vehicle during your trip. Alternatively, if you have your own vehicle you will find extensive parking at the airport including both short and long term as well as valet parking.
