Lubumbashi is the second largest city in the Democratic Republic of the Congo known for its close association to the mining industry, although there are many other interesting things to see and do around the city. Lubumbashi International Airport is located around 15 km from the center of Lubumbashi and primarily handles regional flights. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Lubumbashi directly, it won’t be possible as no airlines offer nonstop flights from anywhere in the UAE. However, there is the option to travel with only a single transfer from the UAE to Lubumbashi which makes the journey a lot more bearable.
