In Hangzhou the weather gets fairly hot during the summer with average highs exceeding 30 degrees between June and August, although it can get rather cold if you visit over the winter. Getting around the city is relatively straightforward by public transport as it is served by a comprehensive network of buses and taxis are also easily found.
