Travelers looking to fly from the UAE to Jodhpur won’t be able to make the journey directly, but there are a few airports in India handling direct flights from the UAE where you can transfer before continuing onward to Jodhpur.
Jodhpur Airport is set within a single passenger terminal and offers a small range of facilities and services, so you will be able to find everything you would need. Along with a range of travel and souvenir shops, there are a couple of places to eat and drink on site so you won’t go hungry while you wait for your flight. Once your flight has arrived at the airport there are plenty of taxis available just outside of the terminal, with the option to visit one of the prepaid taxi stands and pay for your journey before setting off. In Jodhpur temperatures can get hot on a similar scale to the UAE with average highs exceeding 40 degrees in May and June, while it stays fairly warm throughout the rest of the year but can get chilly in the evenings from December to February so bring a jumper just in case. Make sure you put your clocks forward by one hour and 30 minutes to get on local time in Jodhpur, while the currency you will need in India is the Indian rupee.
