Jabalpur Airport, also known as Dumna Airport, is located around 25 km from Jabalpur and handles a range of domestic flights across India. The airport consists of a single passenger terminal which can handle around 150 passengers at a time. Plans are also underway to expand the terminal which will significantly increase the capacity and facilities that the airport offers. Facilities and services are limited at the airport but you’ll find a few of the essentials including snack bars and convenience stores. The airport does not currently handle any international flights so it won’t be possible to travel directly from the UAE to Jabalpur. However, you can conveniently fly with just a single transfer to make the journey a lot easier.
Arriving in Jabalpur
When you have arrived at Jabalpur Airport it is possible to catch a taxi just outside of the airport terminal. You can visit a taxi counter inside the arrivals hall and pay for your journey beforehand to get a fair price. Auto-rickshaw services are also available from the airport offering a cheap way into the city.
