Kwajalein Airport, known officially as Bucholz Army Airfield, is a military airport located on the Marshall Islands and handles a range of regional flights. Travelers looking to fly from the UAE to Kwajalein won’t find any direct flights available, so it will be necessary to make a transfer before continuing your journey.

Kwajalein Airport offers very little by way of facilities and services, so you are advised to bring all that you need with you to the airport. Most civilian travelers arriving at the airport will be transported to the nearby island of Ebeye, so it would be wise to make all the necessary travel arrangements before your journey.

As a UAE national traveling to the Marshall Islands, you will be able to acquire a visa upon arrival which allows you to stay in the country for up to 90 days. The weather in the region stays warm all year round with average highs of around 30 degrees so you can expect plenty of warmth and sunshine. While it rains quite frequently at all times of year, there is a period of increased rainfall from May until November to be aware of. In the Marshall Islands the currency you will need is the United States dollar, while you will need to put your clocks forward by eight hours to get on the local time zone.
