Reasons To Visit Pristina
As the capital of Kosovo, Pristina is the home of the majority of the country’s best heritage sites and landmarks alongside plenty of interesting museums and art galleries which further explore the country’s rich heritage. Arriving In Pristina
Pristina International Airport is the busiest airport in Kosovo located roughly 15 km from Pristina. The airport is set within a single passenger complex and handles flights from a wide variety of destinations primarily in Europe. If you are looking to book flights from the UAE to Pristina it will not be possible to make the trip directly, but the airport has regular connections to many airports handling direct flights from the UAE which makes the journey a little less hassle with only one stopover.
At Pristina International Airport you will find a few options available in terms of amenities including a couple of cafés and eateries alongside duty-free and retail shopping. The easiest way to get to your destination when your flight has landed is by taxi, although there are many car-rental agencies available on site if you would rather rent your own vehicle. UAE nationals flying to Kosovo can travel to the country visa free for a period of up to 90 days. Over the summer the weather in Pristina is enjoyable with average highs in the mid-20s between June and September, although be advised that during the winter period temperatures drop below freezing and there is plenty of snow. Just like the majority of EU nations, in Kosovo you will need to use the euro to make purchases, while the country is three hours behind the UAE.
