Arriving In Tivat
Tivat Airport is the busiest international airport in Montenegro handling a wide range of flights, most of which are on a seasonal basis. If you are looking to book flights from the UAE to Tivat you will be able to make the trip directly out of Dubai. If you want to travel to Tivat during off-season times then you will be able to transfer at Moscow as the airport handles regular flights from the three main airports in Moscow.
At Tivat Airport you will only find the basics available in terms of amenities and facilities as the airport is rather small. However, the airport does have a couple of dining and drinking choices on site and also provides travelers with duty-free shopping. When you have arrived at the airport you are around 4 km away from the city, with plenty of taxis available just outside of the arrivals hall. Alternatively, you could consider renting a car in Tivat.

Montenegro is not yet a part of the European Union, but UAE nationals are allowed to enter the country for up to 90 days at a time without a visa. In Tivat you can expect warm temperatures over the summer with average highs in the high 20s from June until September, while the winter temperatures are relatively mild but you might need a jacket in the evenings. Montenegro has adopted the euro as its currency, while you will need to put your clocks back by three hours to get on local time in the country.
