St John’s International Airport is a fairly small airport set within a single passenger terminal. Inside the airport itself you can find all of the essential facilities and services you would expect to meet your needs. Along with a food court area and a few cafes to enjoy, the airport offers travelers duty free shopping and a couple of basic shops to pick up any last minute products. Although some nationals including EU citizens are allowed to enter Canada on a visa free basis, UAE nationals will need to apply for a visa before traveling so do this with plenty of time to spare. In St John’s the weather gets very cold during the winter with subzero temperatures and thick snowfall, while over the summer things warm up a little with average highs of 20 degrees in July and August.
