Where to Stay in Siem Reap
The city of Siem Reap may be world-renowned for the nearby Angkor temples but there is much more to enjoy about this tropical area in the north west of Cambodia.
As the gateway to the ruins that date back to the Khmer kingdom of the 9th-15th centuries, Siem Reap is naturally home to a wide variety of hotel options so you’ll find somewhere special in the city no matter your taste or budget.
As well as the famous temples, visitors to the area can also enjoy world-class golfing, traditional cooking and the fun, cheap and quirky nightlife that can be found in the famous Pub Street.
While Siem Reap is a popular tourist destination, public transport is basic with taxis being the main method of getting around. Bicycles and motorbikes are also an option but it is worth considering a rental car or booking a car and driver to visit the sites.

I had a great time visiting there. I am pleased to recommend this beautiful place.
Awesome town in Northern Cambodia. Accommodation for all types of travelers. Night bazar that will surely amaze anyone. Great restaurants at affordable prices.
Siem Riep is a backpackers destination. With tons of hostels and night life, any backpacker is sure to make friends in this city. Angkor Wat is a must see, just keep in mind it can get uncomfortably hot so either go early morning or later in the evening.
Incredible concentration of world class temples. But not only as there are more and more activities, like massage, bike tour in the countryside, visit of workshops, cooking or cocktail classes, excellent restaurants, etc.
