Where to Stay in Prague
Prague has become one of the most popular destinations in Europe for both solo travelers and groups with plenty to see and do in the capital of the Czech Republic.
The city’s Old Town is arguably the liveliest area and consequently hugely popular, while the region known as Malá Strana has the more historic attractions including the castle district. Both areas have a wide choice of hotels for every budget. Discover things to do in Prague.
Old Town Hotels
One of the most luxurious hotels in the city, the Four Seasons is within a short walking distance of Charles Bridge and has easy access to the city’s metro system. Also offers a spa with treatment rooms, a sauna and a fitness centre with toys and games available for younger guests.
2. Antik Hotel
For a more mid-priced choice, the informal rooms of the Antik Hotel are just a four-minute stroll from the Old Town Square and close to other attractions such as Charles Bridge. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary breakfast before setting off to see the sights.
A less expensive choice in the Old Town, the Betlem Club features basic homely accommodation near to all the main attractions and just five minutes to the nearest metro station. History buffs should take advantage of the complimentary breakfast served in the hotel’s very own Gothic cellar, which dates back to the 13th century.
Malá Strana Hotels
On the other side of the river from the Old Town, the Mandarin Oriental is a five-star luxury option just over 1km from Prague Castle. As well as a spa and gym facilities, the hotel provides a complimentary breakfast and boasts a cool lounge and terrace.
Close to both the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square on the other side of the river, the Hotel Kampa Garden provides modern rooms, free breakfast and easy access to the city’s metro system with the nearest station less than a ten-minute walk away.
A three-star hotel just two minutes away from the nearest tram station, this small and basic hotel has just nine well-furnished rooms, provides free breakfast and is just a 2km (1 mile) walk from the National Museum.

We went on a family trip to this beautiful city. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back for a couples retreat ❤️
The most beautiful city I have seen in my life, Charles bridge, the markets were simply outstanding.... A must visit for everyone....
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Must visit. Good food and beers too. Love it!
I have been staying here for around two or three weeks at a time, twice a year for the past four years as my partner lives here. Even after all these times, i am still totally in love with the city and still find new things to visit and explore. The city is super cheap if you walk five minutes outside of the city centre. Even in the centre you can get a luxury meal in a fancy restaurant for the equivalent of what you'd pay at an average restaurant in the UK. I have also visited Dresden, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest from Prague as buses leave to all these destinations for less than €20 return!!
