Where to stay in New Delhi
A bustling, thriving metropolitan city, India’s capital New Delhi showcases the country in a kaleidoscopic mix of ancient and modern.
Modern Delhi has plenty to offer with a reliable metro system that reaches out and connects all corners of the city, a developing road and transport infrastructure and heritage architecture from the Mughal and Tughlaq periods.
As well as the modern metro network, the city also provides hop-on, hop-off buses allowing visitors flexibility in their movements around the Indian capital. Such transport options mean heritage sites such as Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Parliament House and India Gate are all within easy reach no matter where you stay. If you're planning to travel further afield, you could also consider renting a car in New Delhi.

We had a great time of experience and great tours and trips across several states..
I had a good time there. Love Indian people. But the streets are very dirty in New Delhi especially around Taj Mahal((
I love New Delhi! Shopping is the best. I go to The usual- Fabindia, etc. my favorite, not the cheapest, Delhi Haat. You can get absolutely everything here. You can haggle & get great deals. It’s a one stop shop kind of place. Eat at rajinder ka dhaba. Late night hole in the wall- eat in the parking lot kind of place. Evergreen also has a quick good lunch. I go often- if you have questions, feel free to ask
New Delhi fascinates me, and I want to like it more, but with the horrible pollution (world's worst city is just to the south, according to one list) and bad poverty, it wasn't the easiest place to visit.
