Al Maktoum International Airport is Dubai’s secondary airport and is situated around 40 km from the city center. There is a public bus service running from the airport into Dubai and taxis are readily available to take you where you need to go. The airport doesn’t offer quite so many amenities as Dubai International Airport but still provides everything you would need including duty-free shopping and plenty of cafes and eateries. Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the main airport in Dhaka handling over 18 million travelers annually. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals, with Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 used for international operations. You can find a few different places to eat and drink while you wait to board your flight, while there are also a couple of basic stores available to purchase any last-minute gifts or travel essentials. While there are public buses that can take you near the airport, you may be best off taking a taxi or an auto-rickshaw if you are unfamiliar with the local bus network.
