Why Fly with Jet Airways

How to Check In

Jet Air offer passengers an array of choices to check-in whether it’s online from the comfort of your own home or at the airport. Those looking to check-in at the airport should be advised that counter open 3 hours and close 1 hour before international flights and open 2 hours and close 45 minutes before domestic flights. However, Dubai check-in counters close 75 minutes before flights so be sure to get to the airport well before your flight leaves. Checking in on the web is available from 48 hours up to 2 hours before flights except for some Economy passengers who can check-in 24 hours before flights leave. Select airports including Dubai also offer self-service check-in kiosks which can be used anywhere from 24 hours up to 75 minutes before international flights.

Baggage Allowance and Fees

All passengers on board Jet Air flights are allowed to bring baggage to check-in to the hold, although allowances vary considerably according to your route and flight class. As well as checked baggage, travelers are permitted to bring one item of hand baggage on board no heavier than 7kg in Economy or 10kg in Premiere and First Class. All baggage over your allowance will be subject to excess fees which vary according to your destination. For example, on flights to and from Dubai excess baggage is charged 70AED* per kg.

Jet Airways offer regular Economy seating alongside luxurious Premiere and First Class for those who like to fly in style. Economy passengers are afforded ample legroom with a seat pitch of 30-32 inches, while in Premiere Class legroom is very generous with a seat pitch of 40-49 inches. In First Class travelers can stretch out with legroom of 90 inches, fully flat beds and private suites. While seat selection is complimentary for Premiere Class, First Class and frequent flyers, Economy passengers are charged a small fee for this privilege. Looking to compare Business and Economy?
