Kadapa Airport is situated just over 10 km from central Kadapa and recently opened up after extensive refurbishment in June 2015. The airport is made up of a single passenger terminal which has the capacity for around 100 passengers at a time. The airport currently handles just a few regular domestic services with TruJet. As no international flights are available at the airport it won’t be possible to travel directly from the UAE to Kadapa. However, you can fly from the UAE to Kadapa with only a single transfer. The terminal building offers only the very basic facilities and amenities so bring all the essentials you would need with you.
Arriving in Kadapa
When your flight has touched down at the airport you will be able to catch a taxi to your destination directly. You can either flag down a taxi outside of the terminal or visit one of the counters inside to prepay for your journey. The airport does not have any public transportation links currently so you won’t be able to rely on public transport.
