Arriving In Nuremberg
Nuremberg Airport is located just 5 km away from the center of Nuremberg and is comprised of a single passenger terminal. When you have arrived, traveling from the airport into the city is possible by train, although many make the short trip by taxi instead. Inside the airport you will find a varied selection of restaurants and bars as well as duty-free shopping, while the airport also offers additional amenities such as an on-site beauty salon, children’s play areas and free Wi-Fi.
If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Nuremberg you will need to transfer somewhere as there are no airlines providing direct flights. Thankfully Nuremberg Airport has regular connections to a number of airports with direct flights from the UAE such as Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt airport and Amsterdam Schipol, so UAE travelers can conveniently make the journey with only a single stopover.

If you are visiting the city over the winter then be prepared for cold temperatures as it can often drop below freezing, although over the summer things warm up with average highs of around 26 degrees during July and August. Nuremberg has its own subway system as well as buses and trams which makes it incredibly easy to navigate around the city. However, there are a few car rental agencies available at Nuremberg airport just opposite the main terminal building if you would rather drive your own car around.
