Where to stay in Zagreb

As the capital of Croatia, Zagreb is a popular tourist destination with plenty to offer those who wish to split a holiday on the Adriatic with a trip to the city. As well as historic sights, many restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment outlets, the city also offers a huge selection of accommodation with something for every budget.

The city's trams are arguably the best way to get around Zagreb with services also running through the night and most routes stopping at the main train station or the main square known as Trg Bana Jelacica. Visitors to the city can also check out the funicular railway which connects the Lower Town to the Upper Town as well as a bicycle hire system that is a healthier and more energetic option than Zagreb's taxi, bus and train choices. It's also possible to rent a car in Zagreb.

I like this city. It's the main city in Croatia but it's definitely less popular than Dubrovnik, Split and the coast side. I loved it. I think it's underrated and you can a lot of amazing things to see here. It's even better because it's not too crowded with tourists and you can actually enjoy. I definitely recommend it.
