Amazing view over Le Morne and awesome staff Mr. Jeremie
My Deluxe Chalet has, in my opinion, the best view on the property, overlooking the magnificent Le Morne Brabant and Île aux Bénitiers.⛰️ Waking up to this scenery was definitely one of the highlights of my Mauritius trip.
I also really appreciated the exclusivity of the property. The chalets are accessible only to in-house guests or outside visitors who have made a lunch or dinner reservation at the SeaForest Restaurant. This means the property never feels overcrowded with random visitors.
The service was another highlight of my stay. Mr. Jeremie at the front desk was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, always making me feel well taken care of. The male staff from India working at the restaurant, especially during dinner, were also outstanding. They were attentive, helpful and consistently provided impeccable service throughout my meals.
That said, to be completely honest, the food is where I feel there is still considerable room for improvement. While the service at the restaurant was excellent, the taste and overall quality of the food did not quite match the beautiful setting and level of service. I hope the management will continue working on this aspect, as the property has tremendous potential.
Overall, Chalets Chamarel is a beautiful and peaceful little hideaway surrounded by nature, with an incredible view of Le Morne and Île aux Bénitiers. With only a handful of chalets, it offers exactly the kind of tranquil and exclusive experience I was looking for during my stay in Mauritius.

Chalet with amazing views
Chalets are all seperate and spacious. You need to walk a little to have your meals, although you can have room service.

Fabulous view
Nice rooms and excellent customer service.(from booking to checkout)
Hotel staff was very helpul,professional and friendly.
Excellent breakfast, however dinner could have been better in terms of menu choices while most of the menu were not included in our package and was chargeable.
