Beautiful stay in this riad

Riad beautifully decorated, very intimate, very quiet and yet very close to the jamaa El fna square.

I didn't know him, but I couldn't choose a better place

Entering the riad was entering paradise. A phenomenal patio to have a good breakfast or tea. The staff is very attentive and helpful and everything was good attention on their part. They answered us very kindly to all our concerns and told us where to buy and where to exchange currency.The food is spectacular and the terrace impressive. After my house....the best place to rest. I want to go to Toubkal in June and I will return to the Riyadh with some friends without any doubt. I want you to know the place I've fallen in love with.

Theft during our stay

We were very much looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately experienced a serious security issue.
On our first day in Marrakech, we returned to our room to find that our belongings had been moved. The room had been padlocked from the outside, and cash was missing (USD, EUR, and Moroccan dirhams).
When we reported this to management, we were informed that management and another employee had entered the room while we were away. Management later stated that the loss was our responsibility for leaving money in the room, despite the room being under hotel control at the time.
A police report was filed, and the incident was classified as theft occurring inside the hotel.
We are sharing our experience so other travelers can make an informed decision regarding security and management practices at Basma Riad.

Beautiful, like home

Delighted with my stay in Riad Basma, I would always recommend it. Very clean, nice and with lovely decor, very good breakfasts, staff, the best of the Riad

An unforgettable stay – impeccable service and warm welcome

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Basma in Marrakech. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The service is impeccable and the breakfast is simply excellent, with a variety of delicious choices. Many thanks to all the staff for their warm welcome, especially to Ali and Latifa for their kindness and professionalism. I would also highly recommend the driver Adil for all activities outside Marrakech. He was professional, friendly and made us discover amazing places. I highly recommend this riad for an unforgettable stay. Thanks again to the whole team!"
