Riad Chams: House
Located a few minutes walk from the Medina and close to the main attractions of the city, it still manages to be an oasis of peace and tranquility. Youssef, Khalid and Ali are wonderful people, they welcome you and treat you like a family person, already on the second day when you return to the riad you are returning home. Without them our stay in Marrakech would not have been the same. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean and hospitable. The common areas are cleaned and tidied up every day, both on the 1st floor and on the second floor terraces it is a pleasure to sit down after a busy day spent in the city centre and relax. Very good breakfast and highly recommended home cooking, tasty and rich typical dishes.
Very welcome the company of the house cat, Khaima, her friend without a name yet and the turtle that every morning walks on the terrace.
In short, anyone coming to Marrakech should choose the Riad Chams!
Many thanks to Youssef, Khalid and Ali for this wonderful stay in Marrakech, for all the advice, jokes and also for the cultural exchanges we had over a cup of mint tea.

Beautiful island in a sea of chaos!
We met the beautiful resident cat and 2 of the 4 tortoises! Such a beautiful place.
Upon arrival we were given tea and biscuits whilst filling in the formalities. We were given a map, showing places of interest. We booked a meal at the Riad for the first night, which was very nice.
Be aware that the Riad is down a series of alley ways and you are likely to encounter sick and injured animals. This unfortunately spoiled our experience and we did all we could by feeding them whilst there. But I wasn’t prepared for some of the things I saw.
I would highly recommend a visit to the Atlas Mountains whilst there. They can arrange it for you if you haven’t made other arrangements.
All in all a really beautiful Riad. If I were going back to Marrakesh I’d definitely stay there again
