Beautiful location, felt like a local. Room was big with a large comfy bed. Had everything we needed and was cleaned and restocked daily. There was a portable aircon (which i know aircons aren't guarenteed in older buildings) it was super loud and needed the window open to run. Blinds also let in lots of light. Great stay though

This is an oasis tucked into a neighborhood. We could hear the birds singing in the morning. The room and bathroom are large and comfortable. The location was great for the Metro, museums and dining. The owner was helpful and accommodating.

Great location

Excellent location in the city, near metro and trams , quiet street, Rembrandtsplein within walking distance. Fairly steep stairs up, spacious room, tightly decorated, paintwork does show some wear. Spacious bathroom, but nothing to hang anything on, just one towel rack at the shower. Drain sink was as good as clogged > maybe that caused some moisture to linger in bathroom, smell was also not completely fresh (but with air exhaust). Entrance via number code + key box > owner e-mailed about it later > pay attention to this, in itself handy.

1) Long steep stairs to room. No lift
2) Room does not reflect quality displayed in photos shown
3) no insulation to block foot noise or talking
4) front desk non existent, halls pitch dark, can’t see to turn on lights
5) floor with hair, filth, dirt and on also molding
6) bed just a mattress on a old water bed frame
7) towels old and tattered possible bacteria growth
8) cracks in shower floor and around toilet missing grout and material = bacteria?
9) outside street is just an alley way. Cab driver never heard of the place, couldn’t find the place.
If we had known of conditions beforehand I would have cancelled and made other reservations elsewhere.1st time Expedia did not reflect ratings given in reviews. This place was not close to even one star. We were in shock for three days! Lodging is not commensurate to the price paid or shown in Expedia photos. Deceiving and mislead customers.

Great location tucked out of the way but easy to get to different attractions and shops. Amazing bakery 5mins walk.
Our host, Alex, was great...kept in touch through whats app.
Would stay again.
