Cordoba is really a beautiful example of cohesiveness of different architecture and religious styles in the same place. Not just in the iconic Mezquita, but all over the historical Casco antiguo
In the Andalucian region of Spain Seville gets most of the press as the "must see city". And it is a reat place. But please, try to see Cordoba, it is fascinating! Here is a city that you can see the different cultures at work; the fantastic Mezquita, a towering testament to the strong Islamic (Moorish) influences. The city was actually the largest city in the world back in the Tenth Century. The Roman bridges that cross the river Gudalquivir are impressive. Walk on them and look out, beautiful. And to top it off a colorful "Old Town" with a maze of cafes and restaurants.
Smaller, less crowded than Sevilla and full of Andalucían charm and beauty. Friendly locals, be sure to wander aimlessly through its streets.
the mosqutia is great, city is interesting and beautiful around nice villages with good food, good wines campground in the City but also in villages a bit away in the middle of olive trees
