Great campsite for visiting Cantabria
Campsite in a great location to get around Cantabria.
Great reception.
Direct access to the sea
Large and very green pitches.
Very clean and functional toilets (hot water everywhere, laundry service with coin-operated washer and dryer). Comfortable barbecue area with tables attached the means to a large green lawn.
Wooded area near the sea illuminated during the evening.
Large lawn with ocean view benches.
Supermarket with everything you need.
Cafeteria and restaurant service.
In short, excellent solution.

Dire campsite restaurant
The campsite I liked has found everything excellent but the Service of the restaurant and shop is horrible.
The supermarket sells rotten meat and of course they don't even think about giving you the money back, at least I noticed and I didn't eat it, only when I opened it the smell was unbearable.
The cafes in the restaurant taste like coffee makers uncleaned since 1990 and sewers.
The treatment of the restaurant staff is abysmal and even if you tip them treat them kindly they always look like they came from a funeral.

Disappointing
Tiny pitches and streets, if you have a motorhome of more than 6.50 meters (practically all of them) you can cross yourself. The area with the fixed caravans looks like a neighborhood of txabolas and its owners look like the owners of the campsite and the beach. The outdoor parking is saturated and people park in a field next to the beach (until one day the coasts come and put on their boots). Bring toilet paper because it is a luxury item that is not included in the price..... In short, to not return, I am better off in a field.

Sign language
Camping with a good location and access to the sea.
Nearby and beautiful mountain routes.
The camping supermarket has everything and on our plot coexistence and silence are respected.
This campsite is adapted to diversity, in fact our neighbors were deaf and mute and they fucked making a lot, a lot of noise.
Something they didn't hear but the 10 surrounding stores did. Live love while camping, without a doubt an UNFORGETTABLE experience.

Camping family holiday
The campsite is set on the edge of the hill that falls into the sea (So a cliff I guess) with access to the beach.
I'll start with the bad news; pitches are small, bit I've been told that this is common place in Spain, not great if you have a large 8 berth tent.
But that aside the campsite is lovely, the amenities are clean and there is a laundry area as well which was a relief when I have two young boys.
The staff are friendly and they have a weird concept of when you check in you then head round the site and pick the plot you want.
Because we were staying for 10 nights I emailed a few weeks in advance to get a plot, and again staff were fine and helpful with that.
Also on site you will find arcades for those evenings when you need to bribe the kids, a supermarket that's open 7 days a week and a bar and restaurant.
All the pitches have the availability of electricity. They don't take the normal UK camping hook up but you can get an extension lead from the reception.
It's difficult to park cars on the campsite but they do have allocated car park at the top of the campsite.
The beach is a walk down the steps, each night you will be able to hear the waves crash on the beach. The beach itself if sand and is lovely, I couldn't believe how clear the water was.
The nearby town/village of isla is 10mins walk, there are more restaurants there, and further beaches.
There is a coastal walk out of the top of the village, we managed to do a little bit of that but the weather was a little poor so we gave up and came back.
If it wasn't for the size of the pitches this woukd be an absolutely perfect campsite for me. I love being in areas where I'm forced to learn another language even if it is pigeon spanish.
