Jorhat Airport is located around 7 km from Jorhat and operates as both a civil airport and military airbase. The airport currently handles just a single civilian service from Kolkata with IndiGo - although you can’t travel directly from the UAE to Jorhat you can quite easily catch a connecting flight at Kolkata. The airport consists of just a single passenger terminal which offers a few essential facilities and amenities for travelers. This includes a couple of snack bars and eateries as well as convenience stores.
Arriving in Jorhat
When you have landed at Jorhat you will find taxis ready to take you to your destination directly. Although there aren’t any public transport stations available at the airport and you'll need to get to the city bus and railway stations to travel further afield.
