Why You Should Visit Silchar
Silchar is located in the state of Assam in northeastern India and offers plenty of fascinating things to do for visitors. The airport is made up of a single passenger terminal and offers very little in terms of amenities and facilities. Other than a café and a couple of convenience shops, there is little else available to do at the airport. Fortunately there are day rooms available at the airport where you can catch some rest if you anticipate a long stay. When your flight has arrived at the airport, the easiest way to travel to your destination is by taxi. However, there are also buses available which can ferry you from the airport into the city for a cheaper price.
