Montpellier-Mediterranee Airport is situated just 7 km outside of Montpellier and ranks as the 10th busiest airport in France. The airport itself is housed within a single terminal complex and offers all of the essential amenities you would need. When you have arrived at the airport you can find public transport to travel into the city with bus services available, although you may prefer the convenience and comfort of a taxi. Inside the airport there are a few different places to eat and drink as well as duty-free shopping, while you can also connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network to get online.
Montpellier-Mediterranee Airport primarily handles flights from European destinations, many of which are on a seasonal basis. If you are looking to travel from the UAE to Montpellier you will not be able to make the journey directly. However, the airport does have regular connections to a few airports handling direct flights from the UAE including Paris Charles de Gaulle, so travelers based in the UAE will be able to travel to Montpellier with only a single stopover.
