Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and the home of many of the country’s finest cultural attractions reflecting both its rich heritage and its vibrant modern culture. When to Visit Prague
The Prague weather can be quite cold but does warm up considerably over the summer, so those used to the heat may want to visit sometime between April and September. The busiest period for visitors to the city is in July and August, so if you want a bit of a quieter experience you may want to visit either side of this period. Even though it gets very cold, Prague can be a wonderful and charming place over the winter and snowfall is common. The main airport serving Prague is Vaclav Havel Airport Prague, situated 10km outside of the city center. There are three different carriers offering flights from Dubai to Prague - Emirates, flydubai and SmartWings. Other than this there are not currently any other flights from the UAE to Prague, but new routes may open up in the future. Getting from the airport into the center of Prague is possible by public bus, airport shuttle or taxi and only takes a maximum of 45 minutes.

Czech Republic is part of the Schengen Area, meaning that all Schengen and EU nationals can enter into the country freely without a visa. In addition to this, nationals from over 60 countries are also entitled to visa-free access including those from the UAE. Unlike most EU member states that use the Euro, the currency used in Czech Republic is the Czech koruna and the Euro is not widely accepted.
