Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport is Istanbul’s second airport situated 35 km from the city. If you are looking to catch flights from the UAE to Istanbul, Sabiha Gokcen Airport handles direct flights from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah for UAE-based travelers. If you are flying from Abu Dhabi you can make the journey with Turkish Airlines or Pegasus Airlines (Etihad flies to Istanbul Ataturk). Travelers from Dubai can fly with Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Emirates and flydubai out of Dubai International Airport, the main airport in Dubai. In addition to this, it is also possible to fly from Sharjah with Air Arabia.
