This little city city is full of things to do. We parked the car and spent the whole whole day walking around and and seeing the sights. By the end end-of-life endothelial day our feet were dead, but it was well worth the journey.

Modern and old, cold weather and warm restaurants ! Regensburg can tell you a lot of medieval stories beyond your imagination

I love Regensburg. A beautiful city sitting on the Danube that's mostly untouched by the bombs during World War 2. There isn't a lot to do in Regensburg but it's a great day tripping city to city the stunning cathedral and to eat some Regensburger sausages along the riverbanks.

19th of July 2012- I and my 2 friends from Munchen, Germany drove 2 hours to Regensburg upon the invitation of German couple Max and Heidi Weinzierl whom I met in Manila in April. REGENSBURG- a medieval city in Bavaria, Germany along the Danube river is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is ancient as far as its rich historical ascendancy from 90AD when it was established by Roman legions and until the 7th century when it became part of Charlegmane's empire. Christianization flourished until the 14th century when it converted to Protestantism. Nowadays, the city is well known to be the place where Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger teached from 1969 to 1977 at the University of Regensburg. That cardinal is now our Pope Benedict XVI.
