Airport Information - Arriving
Tribhuvan International Airport is Kathmandu’s primary airport and the main international gateway into Nepal consisting of an international terminal and a domestic terminal. Once you have touched down you may find that taxis are the easiest way to reach your destination, although if you are on a strict budget there are public buses available. Although the options inside the airport are fairly limited, you can still find all of the essentials you would need including a few cafés and eateries as well as travel and souvenir shops. In addition to this, there is an airport lounge in the international terminal and you can also connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network.
Airport Information - Departing
Abu Dhabi International Airport is made up of three passenger terminals and is the UAE’s second busiest airport. You can reach the airport by public bus if you don’t want to pay for a private taxi, while extensive short- and long-term parking can be found for vehicle owners. At the airport you will find a wide range of shops with everything from retail stores to designer goods and duty-free shops available. There are also plenty of dining and drinking choices on site along with other luxuries such as spa centers, rest zones and numerous airport lounges. If you need to access the internet you can connect to the airport’s free Wi-Fi network or visit one of the many internet stations located around the airport.
What to Expect in Kathmandu
