Airport Information - Arriving

Dubai International Airport is the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger traffic serving over 83 million people each year. The airport itself consists of three passenger terminals. While Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are part of the Dubai Metro, getting to and from Terminal 2 is possible on the free shuttle bus provided. When you have landed at Dubai International Airport you can conveniently journey to central Dubai on the Dubai Metro, or if you want a direct trip to your hotel you can find taxis outside all terminals. The airport offers a vast range of amenities and services to ensure all of your needs are met whether it’s designer and duty free shops or restaurants and cafes to dine at.

Airport Information - Departing

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is China’s third busiest airport handling more than 55 million travelers annually. The airport is set within a single terminal but is split into three areas - Main Terminal, Area A and Area B. If you don’t want to drive or take a taxi to the airport then you can either hop on the Metro Line 3 or use the Airport Express bus to reach the airport from central Guangzhou. When you have arrived at the airport there is plenty to do including enjoying a meal at one of the airport’s restaurants or exploring its shops to pick up some last-minute gifts or essentials.

What to Expect in Dubai

In Dubai the weather is hot all year round, although temperatures cool down a bit over winter between December and February. Chinese nationals are able to acquire a visa upon arrival in Dubai so there’s no need to arrange one before flying, while Dubai is 4 hours behind Guangzhou so be sure to change your clocks when you land. Prices are considerably more expensive in Dubai compared to Guangzhou so those on a budget need to be careful not to spend it all at once.
