One of the most popular ways to reach central Dubai from the airport is on the Dubai Metro which is linked to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, although taxis are available if you want a direct journey to your destination.

Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport is the main airport in Madinah located roughly 20km (12 miles) outside the city center and ranks as the fourth busiest in Saudi Arabia, handling over 6 million passengers a year. You can find an ample range of facilities and amenities at the airport including a few 24-hour dining options in addition to duty free shopping, while there are also a number of gift stores and other general shops located around the airport to pick up some last-minute essentials. If you aren’t taking a taxi to the airport then there is ample parking available for those who will be driving themselves.
What to Expect in Dubai
In Dubai the weather is just as hot as Madinah with temperatures reaching searing highs over the summer between May and September. Saudi Arabian nationals will not need to obtain a visa in order to enter Dubai, but you will need to show a valid ID card in order to enter the country. Make sure you put your clocks forward 1 hour when you arrive to reflect the time difference between Madinah and Dubai.
