Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is renowned as one of the world’s finest airport offering a huge selection of amenities and facilities. There are also many places to eat and drink located around the airport with everything from quick fast food to high-end restaurants available. The airport is comprised of three passenger terminals which are all relatively easy to reach from one another. While Terminals 1 and 3 are part of the Dubai Metro network, travelers needing to get to Terminal 2 will need to use the free shuttle bus service.
Airport Information - Departing
Mangalore International Airport is made up of two passenger terminals, although they are both situated within the same terminal complex so getting between terminals is not a hassle. Terminal 2 is the international terminal, while Terminal 1 is used for domestic flights. The airport offers a decent selection of amenities including duty free shopping in Terminal 2 as well as a number of places to eat and refuel. Most travelers will hop in a taxi in order to get to and from central Mangalore and there is a prepaid taxi counter operating 24 hours a day.
What to Expect in Dubai
The weather in Dubai stays hot all year round so be prepared for the heat. If you want to visit when things are a little cooler then any time between October and April will be ideal. While many nationals including those from the EU (excluding the UK) are permitted visa-free entry into the country, nationals from India will be required to obtain a visa in advance before traveling.
