Dubai International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports having handled close to 90 million travelers in 2018. The airport is located just 5 km from the center of Dubai and is set across three passenger terminals. If you are arriving on a flight with Air India Express you will be landing at Terminal 2 which isn’t yet connected to the Dubai metro network. However, this terminal is served by a complimentary shuttle bus running to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 where you can then catch the metro. Alternatively, taxis are readily available outside of all passenger terminals and there are also plenty of car rental options available. All of the amenities and facilities you could possibly need can be found at the airport including leading designer and luxury stores, extensive duty-free shopping and several restaurants, cafés and eateries. Other luxuries available include free Wi-Fi access, many airport lounges and spa treatment centers.

You can use one of the airport lounges if you need somewhere more comfortable to wait for your flight.
