Arriving In Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Airport is situated around 15 km from the center of Dubrovnik and consists of three passenger terminals. When you have arrived at the airport there are airport shuttle buses available which can take you into the city center, although you may prefer the convenience of a taxi to reach your destination directly. Inside the airport there are a few places to eat and drink available as well as duty-free shopping, so you can find plenty to do to keep yourself occupied.

Dubrovnik Airport primarily handles seasonal flights from around Europe and does not have any direct connections to the UAE, so travelers based in the UAE will need to make a transfer somewhere to complete the journey. The airport does handle regular flights from Istanbul and Frankfurt amongst others which would enable UAE travelers to make the journey with just one stopover all year round.

As Croatia is a part of the Schengen Area, UAE nationals don’t need a visa to enter the country for a stay of up to 90 days. Be sure to change up the correct currency before your visit as Croatia does not use the Euro – instead you will need to change your money to the Croatian kuna. If you would like to drive your own vehicle around during your stay, there are a number of car rental agencies at Dubrovnik airport at your service.
